The Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is the festival centre where tickets, passes and of course information is available. It is located near the Central Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof).

The Museum is also the main stage for the video, VR and AR installations and performances.

The leading Swiss museum for design and visual communication. Since its foundation in 1875, the museum has included what has taken effect as design. Its internationally acclaimed collection comprises over half a million objects from the history of design.

The museum reaches a broad national and international audience, at its two sites in Zurich and through its touring exhibitions. As part of Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is actively involved in research and teaching and produces its own publications on a regular basis.

Kunstraum Walcheturm is centrally located near the main railway station in the Zeughaus area. It is the main stage for all live coding and young talents in digital art in Switzerland.

Kunstraum Walcheturm sees itself as a place where contemporary art is presented, mediated and put up for discussion. With its programme that encompasses contemporary art, new media, video and film, new music, experimental electronic music, performance and sound art, the Walcheturm stands between art halls, galleries and offspaces. It offers national and international artists and a differentiated audience a challenging field of experimentation. Walcheturm is a unique setting in the Zurich area. Here, larger new media projects become possible that would hardly be possible in any other space. It is one of the city of Zurich's most important live platforms and a venue for performance festivals lasting several days.

In the nightlife hotspot Kreis 5 or called Zurich West, on Geroldstrasse, you will find SUPERMARKET, the main stage for the DJing/VJing for the party events of the DA Z.

The legendary club has a brand new 360° video mapping installation, unique in Switzerland, and perhaps the best sound system in the country.

Despite the immense importance of the supermarket (which used to be a car garage) for Swiss nightlife, it has remained "the old one": Brick walls and a concrete floor that has long since become a cult, which is as much a part of the location as the supermarket itself is of the Zurich clubbing firmament.

The Wasserkirche is located in the tourist centre of the old town, near the Opera, the Kunsthaus and the Zurich Lake. It is spatially connected to the Helmhaus, the municipal gallery in contemporary art, ainly shown by Swiss artists or artists living in Switzerland. In the vicinity, especially on Rämistrasse, there are top-class galleries for contemporary art.

In the evening, the DA Z mapping concerts take place in the Wasserkirche. During the day, installations and actions will be shown.

Today, the church is only limited by the Limmat on one side, as the island was destroyed when the Limmatquai was filled in. The Impact Hub Café Auer&Co is the central meeting point of the festival. At the same time artists' talks, masterclasses and workshops take place here. It is a perfect location for the DA Z because the festival shares the values of the Impact Hub:

The state-of-the-art Conference Center of the Swiss Exchange SIX, is the venue for the two-day DA Z Conversations. Here, experts from the arts, business, politics and media meet to discuss the tasks and perspectives of art in the age of digitalization.

In the Swiss Finance Museum, which is located in the building of the stock exchange SIX, we show a exhibition about Blockchain Art. A topic that will also play a role in the conversations.

The Art Directors Club, ADC Switzerland, is the association of the top creatives in the communications industry. The ADC gallery will host presentations and conversations that focus on the influence of digital art on commercial communication.

The ADC Gallery is located not far from the Wiedikon train station, it can be reached by tram and bus and is also easily accessible on foot from the Walcheturm.

Various activities in public space are planned for the festival. The place and times will be announced.

The DA Z Outs are in the tradition of Zurich's private, sometimes illegal underground bars. They are places that want to be found. They will be played spontaneously and will only circulate as inside information during the festival.

At specially selected locations there will be small digital installations and opportunities to meet many interesting people, artists and the makers of the festival.
